Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead and manage the Service Department. The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, after-sales service, and customer support activities for resistance welding, robotic automation, and special purpose machines (SPMs).

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage all field service activities, including installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown support, FAT, SAT, and customer training.
• Lead and supervise the Service Engineering team to ensure timely and effective execution of service assignments.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Manufacturing, Projects, and Purchase departments for smooth execution of customer projects.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for Resistance Welding Machines, Robotic Welding Systems, PLC-based Automation Systems, and Special Purpose Machines (SPMs).
• Monitor service schedules, manpower allocation, travel plans, and customer support activities.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Review and approve service reports, installation reports, commissioning reports, AMC records, and customer feedback.
• Maintain service department KPIs, machine history records, spare parts consumption records, and ISO documentation.
• Identify recurring technical issues and implement corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.
• Conduct technical training and performance development programs for the service team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with a strong background in Resistance Welding Systems will be given preference.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Resistance Welding, Robotic Welding Systems, or SPM industries.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems, industrial automation, robotics integration, electrical control systems, and welding equipment.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and customer support.
• Good understanding of FAT, SAT, ISO documentation, and quality management systems.
• Willingness to travel extensively for customer support and project execution.
